Cassandra Daurden
Began her classicaltraining at Minnesota Dance Academy & Zenon Dance in Mpls, Minnesota. She went on to study contemporary dance with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in New York. She began her professional career in Arizona where she received a B.F.A. in Classical and Contemporary Dance from Arizona State University. Cassandra was a member of Desert Dance Theater, Dance Arizona Repertory Theater and Adzido African Dance Ensemble. She has also worked with many Comtemporary choreographers including Marion Jones, David Rousevve, Cliff Keuter, of the Limon Company and Twyla Tharp. In addition to touring with Contemporary Dance Companies, Cassandra has also worked in Musicals, including “A Chorus Line”, “Will Rogers Follies”, “Little Shop Of Horrors” and “Guys and Dolls.” After Touring she became Director of Summer Stock Musical Theater Camp in Orlando Florida and Resident Choreographer for several Theater Companies. She has recently been nominated for an award for Best Choreography and her first Choreographic work in film has been selected to tour the National Latino Film
Festival.
